The new cover picture triggers a fierce debate, and sparks fly in the editorial office in the wake of Zarah’s unilateral action. She is fired on the spot, but the tide then turns in her favour. The controversial edition sells like hot cakes and Zarah makes a scintillating comeback. She livens up a TV talk show, and the publisher Olsen is delighted to welcome her back on board. Meanwhile, Zarah is already planning her next campaign.

The topic of abortion is high on her agenda. Together with her friend Ulrike Körber, she organises a coach to take a group of women to Holland for an abortion. Zarah wants Relevant to run a story about the undertaking, and deceives editor-in-chief Kerckow into believing that her motives are entirely journalistic, and that she was not involved in arranging the trip. Jenny accompanies Zarah and Ulrike on the journey; the relationship between Zarah and Jenny becomes more than just a friendship. Olsen has his head turned at work as well, by the senior secretary Brigitte Jansen.
