After a visit from her husband and brother in law, Mie realizes that the woods definitely have something to do with her admittance to the secured hospital. A distant memory reminds her that she didn’t feel safe in the forest house because there was a suspicious ranger roaming the property at odd times. There was also something off with Houdini, the stray cat she found in the basement when her family first moved in.
Wolkers continues his search for Thomas Spectre and is convinced Mie and Thomas must have known each other. Although her memory is still a mess, Mie suspects that Thomas may have been stalking her. We meet Dr. Mommaerts, the psychiatrist that treated Mie after her car accident. Mommaerts believes she may be able to help Mie remember the information the Detective is prying for, but disapproves of his harsh approach.
