Ina Behrendsen has fallen in love with Leo Fischer, a seal conservationist and protector on Sylt. But their new relationship doesn’t last long. After a seal rescue on the beach, Ina discovers Leo there, beaten to death. Inspector Carl Sievers and his team find the murder weapon, a blood-soaked car jack, in the dunes. And when Captain Sven, a friend of Leo’s, barely survives his sightseeing boat being blown up, the inspectors believe they have found the perpetrators: a colorful group of young people illegally camping on the Elbow, Sylt’s northernmost tip.
