The body of Marion Caspary is found in a beach chair by the sea. Near the scene of the crime, Commissioner Sievers comes across Piet Pinter, an elderly confused gentleman. What connection does he have to the murder?

Piet Pinter suffers from dementia and lives with his best friends Ingo Osborn and Olaf Bolt in the retirement home where Marion Caspary worked before her neck was broken. Piet Pinter becomes a suspect and is brought in for questioning.
