Protestant minister Lena Fauch has retreated into her shell since the death of her husband, a SWAT officer. Only at the request of the police chaplain, her old friend and mentor, does she agree to substitute for the chaplain. The men and women she has to help have serious psychological problems – but she, too, has to maneuver cautiously within the rough and sometimes threatening peergroup spirit of the elite SWAT officers.
