Freya can hardly believe it – Daphne really seems to have awakened. However, this means the dog is afraid of her now, and bites her. Malte continues to be completely unaware. Charlie witnesses her mother somewhat clumsily hiding a suitcase from Malte as he tries to take her to the hospital. She finds clues that lead her to believe her mother may be seriously ill and heads off in search of the truth.
