Finja's father Peter is attacked by a ghostly apparition, which he conceals from his daughter. Meanwhile, Ruben and Romy find themselves in danger on the Poppenberg mountain. Romy is able to save herself, but Ruben falls into the Pied Piper's clutches. Sam wants to get out of town, but Finja, Jannik and Romy don't want to leave Ruben in danger. Meanwhile, Inspector Erik Zastrow is struggling with the death of his wife, the strange behaviour of his daughter Alina and his dark secret.
