One morning, fish farmer Stefan Malchow looks at his fish pond in shock. Every single trout is dead. A few moments later, so is he.
Stefan’s wife, Tina, is in despair: How can she go on without her husband? She can’t run the farm alone. Forensic analysis reveals that the fish were poisoned with plant fertilizer, and the medical examiner rules that Malchow was stabbed to death. Initial clues point to two boys living in a home for troubled youth that’s located near the fish farm. The boys, however, say they saw the victim fighting with a strange man.
