Dr. Nice is called to an emergency birth at the farm of farmer Harry Börnsen. The patient, however, is not the farmer’s very pregnant wife Thekla, but Björnsen’s prized cow. At the same time, Nice learns that Charlie and his daughter Lea plan to leave him for six months to work at the family hotel. Shortly afterward, Thekla collapses in a seizure and her condition rapidly deteriorates in the hospital.
