Dalli Dalli premiered in 1971 and developed into one of the best-known and most popular programmes on German television. ZDF celebrated the format's 50th anniversary with a high-profile anniversary special. Some memorable clips from the archives were shown and formed a reference to the show's decades of success. As always, teams of two played against a ticking clock. And all the iconic elements of the show like "Dalli click", the "Dalli musical scale", fast-paced games and quiz elements were brought back to life. The jury always looked very closely and the presenter's famous “top jump” experienced a huge revival.
