Felix, early 50s, is a royal pain, a genuine stinker who's always in a bad mood and openly displays his contempt for the world at large. The retired teacher has as little contact as possible with his neighbors, but is forced to deal with Marie and her daughter Amelie when Marie causes water damage in his apartment. Little by little, Felix feels that Amelie, who has problems at school, might not be dumb, just in need of help. Has he found someone who will give him cause to smile again?
