Olaf Hintz is a loathsome misanthrope. Having taken care of him for years, his sister Elfie has now had enough. She moves out and sublets her half of their shared apartment to single mom Trixie.
Hintz’s nightmare comes to life as Trixie and her three brats, Murat, Afia and Sean, move in with him. The reactionary senior citizen immediately declares war on the family. When Hintz catches Murat stealing, he seizes the opportunity and puts them out on the street.
