The Death of the President, Season 12 - (eps. 18)

Murder strikes again on the golf course: golfing coach Tanja Sigl stumbles across the president of Rosenheim Golf Club, Walter Pacher, lying dead in the rough. Detective Superintendents Sven Hansen and Korbinian Hofer soon learn that Pacher didn’t only have friends at the club. There’s Uwe König, for example, who has set his sights on ousting Pacher as club president. The two rivals frequently clashed. Perhaps König had now delivered a final fatal blow. Then the policemen’s attention is caught by Barbara Wurzer, who runs the golf club restaurant and whose lease contract has been terminated. Seeing her livelihood threatened, the cops believe she saw red and killed Pacher. Another clue leads to Fritz Göbel, the club’s secretary. Did he resort to murder after learning that Pacher was having an affair with his wife? This suspicion is also shared by Reinhard Wagenknecht, the victim’s closest friend. While Hofer and Hansen close in on the real offender, it comes to light that the newly acquired coffee maker in the office hadn’t actually been authorized. Controller Felix Seitz must now explain the impending loss to his colleagues, while at the same time he faces the dilemma that the used coffee maker can’t be returned.
