Blennerhasset’s brand new camera has disappeared, and seemingly Conall Molloy along with it. Convinced that his new assistant has stolen his equipment, Blennerhasset develops a plan to retrieve it. But this plan involves travelling deep into the heart of the Monto, Dublin’s notorious red light district, the neighbourhood Molloy lives in. Nancy sees this as an opportunity for adventure and gladly dives into the dangerous underbelly of Dublin on her uncles behalf. But when she too goes missing, Blennerhasset is forced to track her down, all the while avoiding the increasingly persistent Detective Frederick Regan and a gang of dangerous criminals interested in pioneering a particularly lucrative style of illicit photography.
