Vera’s team fails a mission during a strike against drugs: one investigator dies while he tries to convict the main drug distributor and another young police officer gets shot at and falls into a coma. Vera needs to work closely together with Mario Fechtner, police informer of the drug squad. Fechtner is very handsome and charismatic and always on the verge of the “wrong side” and therefore risky to trust. Vera starts to appreciate Mario’s devoted working methods that are similar to hers. But what went wrong during the mission? This question also bothers internal investigator Dominik Schneider. He warns Vera of Mario possibly being the traitor . Vera is caught between two remarkable men and has to make a difficult moral choice. On top, she has to solve a case on new territory.
