The three siblings Waldemar are now equal co-owners of the guesthouse and the estate that their mother left behind. But how strong are the ties of kinship when some unexpected events suddenly threaten the family and the guesthouse’s future to tear asunder? The second season deals with issues of identity and guilt in a dysfunctional family attempting to heal old wounds in the frozen winter landscape of Åland, in the Baltic Archipelago. Will the characters ultimately be forced to take responsibility and make the necessary sacrifices, for the sake of their loved ones? Is blood really thicker than water?
