Martha arrives with pleasant anticipation in Düsseldorf: She wants to become the new design assistant at “LCL”. But all her hopes for an exciting future in the big city are dashed in a single moment, when Tanja, after only one glimpse of Martha’s full figure, brushes aside the applicant. Martha can’t believe that all her dreams are already shattered, and she has no alternative but to return to her bleak life in the countryside. She didn’t even have a real chance! But as she already has one foot in the train heading back home, she realizes that she is not about to give up without a fight: she returns to “LCL” and Tanja, and claims her chance.
