Xaver Gottlob, the owner of a venerable Frankfurt restaurant, is accused of killing his rival Tilman Brügge, who had been luring Gottlob’s clients away with his “nouvelle fast food”. Benni represents the defendant and enters a world where Frankfurt’s famous “green sauce” literally seems to die for... As Gottlob seems guiltier by the minute, his granddaughter fears that the troublesome restaurateur might do something irrevocable. When Leo discovers another player in the Green Sauce War, the case takes on a greater dimension.
