In the fourth episode of season 1, Detective Chief Superintendent Vera Lanz has to investigate the murder case of prosecutor Marc Berger while also trying to hide her own affair with the victim. Unfortunately, Vera was the last person that saw Marc Berger alive. Suddenly the situation aggravates when a connection between the current murder case and Vera’s murdered husband Andreas, seven years ago is found - Vera feels pressured and even becomes a suspect herself. Now she needs to decide whom – especially among her team – she can trust and whom to avoid.
