Judging from appearances, Nicolaus Bluhm seems to have been murdered by a male prostitute. But when Trompeter tracks down the alleged killer Tim, he finds him dead, too. Kneeling next to the body is the girlfriend of the male prostitute. Azhar is a war orphan from Irak who wanted to build up a new life for herself with Tim. Did the girl see anything? Is the death of the project supervisor in any way related to his major contract to build an addition to the Munich Airport? Or had Nicolaus Bluhm’s wife never accepted her husband’s bisexuality? When Vera finally comes across a connection between the present case and the death of her husband Andreas Lanz, it looks as if she is not objective enough for the task. Vera might be able to make new findings in her own personal case – but at what price?
