When Katharina comes face to face with her teenage love Juri, it seems like they had said good-bye to each other just yesterday, not 30 years ago. She has been taking care of Juri’s father Willi for decades, but her good will is now approaching its limits. Willi is becoming eccentric and really needs his son’s attention. Juri returns from Canada, where he arranges wilderness tours. He had emigrated there after climbing the fence of the embassy in Prague back in 1989.
