A Belgian drug dealer has a car accident on a country road near the Saar river, and in the aftermath the body of a 16-year-old girl is found in the trunk of his car. Chief Inspector Judith Mohn knows the dead girl, Jette Mertens; Jette is the daughter of her friends Nicole and Frank. That same evening, Inspector Mohn had encountered Jette during a drug raid at a party, and sent the girl home alone. Driven by feelings of guilt, she spares no effort to find Jette’s murderer.
