Psychiatrist Dr. Joe Jessen is called to the scene of an emergency. A woman is standing on a bridge with a cell phone at her ear, behaving as if she is under someone else’s control. Joe cannot save her, and she jumps to her death. Her daughter Jenny doesn’t believe her mother died by suicide. Did whoever was on the phone make her jump? As the investigation continues, one trail leads to Patrick, a former soldier who served in Afghanistan and suffers from severe post-traumatic stress disorder.
