In the late 1920s, Germany was seething. Social protest turns into a racist and anti-Jewish movement, Hitler and his NSDAP using their anger for their own benefits.

This film shows how the world economic crisis led to catastrophic effects on the Weimar Republic. In order to gain the loyalty of the people, the NSDAP deliberately used emotions. In 1932, the NSDAP became the strongest party in the parliament and President Hindenburg, with the help of conservative parties, undermines the remnants of democracy.
