Keep lying, darling
Martha, a wealthy widow in her late fifties, lives in a villa in Munich with her slightly confused mother Guggi, her five-year-old granddaughter Melanie and her daughter Judith, whose husband left her. Werner, an acquaintance of Martha’s late husband, not only manages her considerable fortune, he is also in love with her. Martha, however, does not return his feelings. Then Martha’s dog rips a large hole in a sports coat, leading the well-to-do lady right into the arms of Hape – a failure, but a charming one.
