Willi Bayer puts his heart and soul into being a veterinarian. The widower’s home always has a place for any creature that barks, meows or speaks some other animal language. His pretty daughter Lea and his capable assistant Horst Nenner provide him with plenty of support. Dr. Bayer, who is known for his big heart for animals and for being available to listen to his fellow humans and their needs and problems as well, cannot say there is a lack of variety in his life, because a never-ending series of tumultuous events and entertaining complications keep him busy.
