Doctor Martin

Dr. Martin Helling’s arrival in Neuharlingersiel turns out to be very different from how he had pictured it: The practice itself is in complete disarray, the medical equipment is outdated, and his late predecessor’s young assistant Melanie is incompetent and impertinent. After a trauma forced him to give up his career as Berlin’s most well-known vascular specialist, Martin Helling envisioned a nice life for himself as a country doctor in the quiet village where he spent his childhood summers at his aunt Alma’s house.
