A NEW SPA IS OPENED – GOOD OR BAD FOR SALTÖN?
Famous millionaire Philip O’Don opens a new luxurious spa on the small island Saltön. The islanders are pleased about the venture, but they’re also worried about the spa meaning competition. Johanna is looking for a job at the new spa. Her ex-husband Bengt, an oyster fisherman, returns from a trip to India. He claims to be a changed man and wants Johanna back. Newsagent Blomgren is feeling depressed and wants to quit working. Holger, new to the island, is worried about his fiancée Dolly. The former tattoo artist is always making mysterious phone calls, and her frequent visits to the city add to Holger’s woes. Emily is hired as the new chef at La Cuisine, the spa’s own restaurant. Emily and Holger are both desperate for attention from their partners. They find comfort in each other, bringing them closer together.
