It’s been a year since we left the House Husbands at the school gate and a lot has changed.

Justin is enjoying life as a single dad to his kids Zac, Jacob and little Angie and has started falling for Tash (Indiana Evans), a young local mum who he has definite chemistry with. There’s only one problem; she’s in a relationship with Rodney (Nicholas Coghlan), Justin’s ex-football agent and the man who stole his wife. Rodney is coaching a rival netball team and the antagonism between the two men spills out onto the court. Finally, a secret from Justin and Rodney’s shared past comes to light which threatens to tear Justin’s happy family apart.

Kane has finally achieved domestic bliss. Alex (Darren McMullen) has moved into the family home and is helping raise Stella and Finn. Kane feels like he has it all – until  he discovers his pie business has competition in the form of Eve (Justine Clarke), a tuck shop tyrant who is running a rival catering company from the school canteen. And she’s set her sights on something far more personal than just Kane’s customers.

With the money from the pub sale, Gemma and Lewis have down-sized their life and moved into a CBD apartment. They both secretly hate their shiny new residence, but are too proud to admit they made a mistake. Mark and Abi, on the other hand, aren’t making any mistakes with their share of the pub sale profits – they’re going on a holiday to Paris. That is until Mark’s nightmare boss Rachel (Jane Allsop) refuses him holiday leave unless he bids on her behalf when her dream house comes up for auction. No problem, until Lewis suddenly shows an interest.

And Abi’s work life gets complicated when her dream promotion is threatened by the hospital’s newest recruit, the dashing and over-achieving Dr Saxon (Akos Armont).
