Lotta has taken up a position as a doctor in Berlin. Against the will of her daughter, Lilo, she's moved to the big city to take care of the locals' small and not so small problems.

Lotta has finally reached her dream goal. However, the metropolis doesn't prove to be very welcoming. Not even Lotta's cheeky charm fully succeeds in conquering the city. She also struggles with Lilo's resistance to the move.

Is it even still fashionable for a woman in her early 30s to brazenly interfere in other people's lives as often as she does? Once again, Lotta is forced to question her own life in this new environment. Her busy schedule means that a lot of issues are left to one side.

Although she can't prevent her patient, Mr Pawlowski, from attempting suicide, she subsequently manages to show him the positive aspects of life. But it had to be Moroccan-born Junis, whose son steals from Lilo in school, with whom Lotta finally succeeds in making Berlin, the city where everyone's from elsewhere, her home.
