Katharina is puzzled when a young musician suddenly appears at her nursery school, playing with the children. He is the father of one of the girls but he doesn’t have visitation rights. Katharina’s new trainee Ali, who goes by “Baba,” was trying to help his friend Tom, who hasn’t been allowed to see his daughter Clara for years because her grandmother claims Tom is violent. When Katharina orders Tom to leave the kindergarten, Baba leaves with him. But Clara doesn’t understand why the father she was just getting to know has to leave again. When she finished work, Katharina heads to the home of the two struggling men.
