Chicho Ibáñez Serrador’s Stories to Stay Awake revolutionized the Spanish Television landscape back in the 60s. And now, 60 years later, it returns rebooted by genre talents Rodrigo Cortés, Rodrigo Sorogoyen, Paula Ortiz and Paco Plaza.

Before We Die - Interview in Italian language

The UK crime thriller Before We Die is based on the eponymous noir Swedish series and stars Lesley Sharp as detective Hannah Laing, a police detective who discovers her estranged son is an undercover informant in a brutal murder investigation.

When her married lover and fellow police officer Sean Hardacre goes missing under mysterious circumstances, Detective Hannah Laing launches an urgent manhunt. She manages to contact one of Sean’s confidential sources: ‘Issy’, and Hannah and her partner start investigating the Mimica family. The Croatian clan plans to smuggle a massive quantity of cocaine into the country, but when Hannah finds out the informant is her son, she becomes conflicted about the investigation.

Panel Discussion: Space Nova

Aimed at 6 - 10 year olds, with space exploration becoming a modern day reality, SPACE  NOVA sparks their imagination. Entertaining and educational, the series weaves aspects of astrophysics, aeronautical technology and the effects of gravity into the stellar storytelling.

​​​​​​ANA. all in., in competition for a GOLDEN NYMPH at this year's Monte-Carlo Television Festival, is set in the gambling world and inspired by real events. It is a thriller about a criminal lawyer fighting a corrupt system to clear her brother’s name who has been accused of murder.

Inspired by Helene Tursten’s best-selling novels and produced by Yellow Bird Productions, this gripping series centres around Katarina Huss, an ambitious new graduate of Sweden’s police academy, who is drawn into a tangled web of corruption and betrayal. Co-production partners for this high end drama are Viaplay, Discovery, German broadcaster ZDF and ZDF Enterprises, with ZDF Enterprises retaining international distribution rights.

Preview Screening: Ku'damm 63

Set in post-war Berlin, the Ku’damm series follows a conservative matriarch and owner of a prestigious dance school and her three daughters, as they each struggle to find their place as women in a changing world.

The Ku’damm series premiered on ZDF in 2016 and reached up to 6.35 million viewers and 19.6 % market share. ZDF Enterprises has licensed the previous two seasons Ku‘damm 56 und Ku‘damm 59 to over 30 broadcasters around the globe.
