On July 14th 1789, the people of Paris and the newly formed National Guard resist the royal troops, forcing the King to surrender and renounce his absolute power.

In November 1790, France is on the brink of a civil. The people are stunned when the King and the royal family are arrested and the monarchy itself is called into question.

A few months later, in June 1791, when Parisian families come to demonstrate, the National Guard open fire on the crowd. It is the turning point of the Revolution.
