Canada has long been a training camp for armed forces from all over the world. Millions of tons of bombs, rockets and munitions have been fired in wasteland across the country. One in ten failed to explode as it was designed to. As the population increases, people are encroaching on once remote areas. Houses, roads, schools, parks, hospitals and recreational centers are being built on thousands of tons of unexploded ordnance (UXO).
