Spirited Turkish-German fashion designer Didem and her musician boyfriend Jakob are an odd, but happy couple living in Berlin. Storm clouds arise when Jakob’s friend Frank announces that their record label is almost bankrupt. And all hell breaks loose when Didem tells Jakob that she's pregnant. Is Jakob, a German, really right for her? When he inadvertently hurts her feelings, she runs off to her parents in Istanbul. While Didem’s father tries to hook her up with a famous Turkish designer, Jakob arrives on the scene in the hope of winning back Didem. And with a friend like Frank, it’s just a matter of time before Turkish girl and German lad find the way to one another again. The road is twisty, however, with new hopes here and second chances there, sensitive issues raised and nagging problems solved…
