Sonja is living a happy life with her husband Thomas and her daughter Anna in a village in the Allgäu region until one day her past catches up with her. Flashback: Sonja just got engaged to Thomas, son of wealthy dairy farmer Katharina Gruber. Thomas’ friend Adrian is jealous of the happy couple. At the traditional shooting fair Adrian rapes Sonja.
