Waitote is rocked by a chaotic and not very serious bank robbery, complete with a shark mask and a panicked young offender who can barely breathe. Deb steps in to calm things down, only to be blindsided when her ex, Mihi, returns to town with her husband and joins the unit. Thrown together after years apart, the two must navigate an awkward reunion, and a case with more layers than it first appears.
