A problem for every solution
Thirty-five-year-old Gerri is tired of watching happiness pass her by. She just never seems to get a break. She has tried numerous online dating sites but still hasn’t found Mr. Right – while her best friend Charly is happily pregnant. When Gerri also loses the job she loves as a writer of hospital romances, she decides to put an end to her miserable existence with a cocktail of vodka and sleeping tablets. But first she decides to write open, honest letters to the people in her life: her sister, her mother, her boss Mr. Adrian, her landlord. When her suicide attempt ultimately fails, Gerri is confronted with a life that is even more of a mess than it was before.
