Police officer Sophie Maibach transfers to Tenerife as part of the “Safe Tourism” program, joining the Spanish Policía Nacional. Together with her colleague Álvaro Krupp-Casado, she is supposed to handle routine cases involving German tourists. However, things don’t stay routine for long. Sophie keeps the real reason for her transfer a secret: her father died in a hit-and-run accident nearly five years ago, and she suspects the person responsible is on Tenerife.
