After missing her call and hearing the troubling voicemail from his former co-worker Hella Christensen, Inspector Simon Kessler sets out for Nordholm. He is sure something bad must have happened. When Hella’s sailboat is recovered at sea, traces of her blood are found along with her cell phone, but no sign of the former inspector herself.
