Combat helicopters are formidable machines of war, built for direct confrontation with the enemy. Their mission is clear: deploy commandos into hostile territory, protect them, and extract them at all costs.
The TIGER is a powerhouse of weaponry, its cannon linked to the pilot’s helmet—where the pilot looks, the gun follows, ready to fire instantly. It serves as the aerial bodyguard to a giant of the skies. That giant is the NH90 Caïman, a 20-meter, 10-ton transport helicopter designed to carry troops into danger, often flying just 10 meters above ground at speeds exceeding 150 km/h. Crews of both aircraft take extreme risks to support soldiers below. Soon, they will be joined by a new generation of collaborative drones. Together, TIGER, Caïman, and drones mark a new era for the French Army.
