Nelly, a delivery driver, is moonlighting as a gas station cashier to avoid Christmas. She has barely started her shift on Christmas Eve when her first customer turns out to be a thief. Sonny swipes two bottles of whiskey before absconding with a classic car from the garage, all while Nelly is right next door, chatting with a small, taciturn fellow named Nick. Convinced the two men are partners in crime, Nelly impulsively grabs Nick and sets off in pursuit.
