The Wallensteins - It Runs in the Family

Chief Inspector Bärbel Wallenstein has been pursuing drug criminality with a focus on crystal meth for a long time now. Her latest case involves an explosion that kills a young man in whose blood the deadly drug is found. Bärbel’s biggest surprise, however, is her new partner: Kim, who happens to be her daughter. Though estranged for many years – due to radically different views about mothering and crime fighting, among others – mother and daughter put aside their differences and give their job all they’ve got. Their first steps take them to the "Little King" Grigar of the Czech Republic, who’s been supplying the border zone for years now and has always managed to escape from the police. Despite unresolved family issues, unsolvable obstacles, false suspects, silent witnesses and surprising turns, mother and daughter are ultimately able to solve the crime.
