Sisters Mona and Marie couldn’t be more different. Big city diva Mona loves the lavish lifestyle of the rich and famous, while her sister Marie spends her days in the reclusive countryside enjoying yoga and a more spiritual way of life. But when fate strikes, will both women realise that they need each other’s support?
With Christmas around the corner, Mona is in her element. Although she utterly dislikes the holiday and all its maudlin sentimentality, everything must be perfect: the biggest tree, the most expensive gifts and the most exquisite buffet. But unfortunately, things don’t go according to plan as her husband Gregor has a heart attack and dies just two weeks before Christmas. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Mona learns that her husband was not only cheating on her with his assistant, but had also robbed Mona of the entire family fortune.
