Doclights GmbH
ZDF Studios GmbH has held a 49% stake in the production company, which specialises in nature films, documentaries and factual entertainment, since 2011. The Studio Hamburg Produktion Group holds 51% of the shares.
Doclights GmbH develops and produces non-fiction programmes of the highest technical standard, modern and entertaining: whether long-running nature and documentary series, docu-soaps, reports with well-known presenters, cinema films or new media formats.
The award-winning programmes are produced for most major German broadcasters and the international market, including the prime time of ZDF, ARD, ARTE and international broadcasters such as National Geographic and History Channel.
This makes Doclights one of the leading documentary film producers in Germany.
