Cheetahs are highly specialised hunters with strategies that cubs can only master by learning at their mother’s side. Captive-reared cheetahs don’t know how to stalk prey. Put them in the wild and they will certainly perish.
Enter Lilly and Iris, two cheetah sisters who were orphaned as young cubs when their mother was killed. After two years in captivity, they are adults with a shot at living wild, through a remarkable new wildling program.
