1715. The war between Britain and Spain ends. The British used freelance ‘privateers’ to attack the Spanish. The privateers are now out of work.. British fighters, like BENJAMIN HORNIGOLD, are left in the Caribbean with no income. So when a Spanish treasure fleet is wrecked off Florida Hornigold turns to piracy and grabs some of the loot, hiding out in Nassau. Hornigold's pirating attracts the attention of upper class rival, HENRY JENNINGS, who steals a vast sum from the Spanish, and then Hornigold's own ship. The bitter rivals are now pirates at war....
